This picture is from the Alfred Nicholas Memorial gardens.
You may think the bridge is surrounded by plastic grass, but it is actually algae.

Awesome photo, looks very peaceful and natural, too many places seem too well kept and kind of lose the natural feel to them.

This may come down to personal preference, but the whole scene looks a little bright or overexposed, maybe try adjusting the brightness and contrast controls.

The other thing to keep in mind, is the image dimensions when you submit, you may want to keep the sizes smaller so it doesnt stretch across the screen at full view size as it gets a little tedious to scroll across the image, if you'd like to offer a full version you can always upload to webspace or scraps and link it in your description.

Thank you for your comment! :) Your advice is very helpful, and i hope that in time i will learn how to adjust the light setting, and find out what all the buttons do, lol

I think this is gorgeous. I love peaceful photos, they're so much nicer than ones where there's far too much going on.

It seems like one of those places where you could sit for hours on end or it would be known as "paradise".

I personally love the lighting. To me it allows you too see more of the colours. Beautiful shot :aww:

i disagree with the above comment i think that only a small amount of the image is overexposed which doesnt take away from the beauty of the whole image

the colours are such a vibrant green and this looks like such a beautiful calm secretive place i know its probably not bu still i get that feeling but great work none the less:D
